We stayed two nights and have given 5* becuase this place really makes an effort, staff are friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The bar is really popular with locals which says a lot, there is a lovely outdoor seating area. Food is great, well presented and fairly priced. Our Breakfasts were lovely. Where improvements need to be made is in the decor of the rooms. There are just bits and pieces that are past their sellby, such as carpets and paintwork. The room we had, number 10, was spacious and really comfortable and there was a bath.
Couldn't fult this hotel it may only have two stars but more like 4 star food was excellent rooms were very clean staff we're great also was nice to have the owner to stop and talk to us.
Friendly and calm service. Beautiful gardens. Plenty of space. Food served in good time.
Great Pub, great staff, good beers on draught. Make everyone feel welcome and dog friendly.
