I love this place first visited in1986 on a school trip and again a few times since. Great rural location. The staff are friendly and welcoming. I really like the relaxed bar area. Good base for exploring the local area. The rooms were very clean and well equipped
Friendly staff. Lovely old place
Absolutely lovely place! Nice and quite, especially when you are coming straight from London! Lovely pub open till late with some games and other things to do (quiz night etc).
And also, have to mention lovely service! Staff is very friendly and helpful!

Stayed here 2 nights. Lovely place. Room was very clean and bed was comfy. Staff are friendly. Would defiantly stay here again.
A little dated in parts, however a warm welcome from friendly staff. Excellent breakfast. Our room, a family room, was ideal. We would stay there again.
