Wonderful, just wonderful. From greeting to goodbye, we are made to feel welcome. The rooms are bright, airy and very very clean. The bed is amazing, our best nights sleep outside home for ages and the breakfast is fantastic, lots of choice. Very covid aware and good social distance measures.

Lovely B&B with a wonderful host who made us feel very welcome. A perfect place to relax and enjoy the area. We had a great time exploring with many great hikes and attractions within walking distance or less than a 30 minute drive away. Lots of wildlife around: we spotted many deer in the forest, and the wild boars roaming around the streets were quite a unique experience.

Chris and Nigel where fantastic hosts and our stay at Deanfield was excellent. They went above and beyond to offer advice on things to do in local area as well as places to eat. Breakfast was delicious and cooked to perfection every day. Our room was spacious light bight and perfectly clean. The shower was wonderfully hot after chilly morning on bikes around the forest. We would definietly stay again! Tips for other travellers: The food at The Fountain in the village was delicious but please book ahead as due to many people in the village wanting an evening meal they get booked up almost a week in advance. We also like Amici an Italian restaurant in Colford for a bit more of a restaurant atmosphere. The cafes in the forest both at the start of the Sculpture Trail (which is a really great walk) and Mallards Pike are great for some lunch or a coffee but you'll have to sit outside during COVID.
