Luxurious 3 berth caravan, we didn't want to leave! Clean and well equipped. I can't comment on the entertainment facilities as we didn't make use of them. It was an excellent base to visit other areas of interest. Less than an hour away from Manchester. Blackpool was less than half an hour away, but a little too crowded for our comfort, not everyone wore masks or socially distanced.

Have been going here for quite a few years with my family and can't fault it. Great base for Blackpool with plenty of transport links. Might be one of their smaller sites but don't let that put you off. Caravans very clean and comfy never have had any problems (see photos) . Staff are great and very helpful (especially the 1st year we went and our son went missing they were fantastic). We enjoy it so much we are going back next year and have even converted other people to these holidays

We had a wonderful stay and could not fault the staff, as they helped out when my mother in law fell before getting in to the caravan on the first night of our stay. We were given a disabled caravan the next day and the Mash and Barrel staff were brilliant with us when we didn't have our key to give then whilst we were waiting to be transferred into our replacement van. On returning to our caravan from a day trip, there was a car parked outside it which the security dealt with swiftly so we could park up outside our caravan and get the wheelchair and pram in easily. I personally haven't been to a caravan park since I was a child and it didn't have half the luxury and facilities that Cala Gran has, however, my husband and his parents used to go there very regularly and are used to everything that's on offer on site. After this holiday I would recommend the site to anyone and will definitely be returning in the future. If I could give the park higher than a 5 out of 5 I definitely would.

Caravans really clean and well kept. All safety measures in place at the centre/amusements.... Great wee shop for buying essentials. Great and helpful staff throughout!! Only downside was outwith their control.... the prize ticket booth was over run on the Thursday night as there could only be one person in the booth.

A really lovely break. Shop, playgrounds, arcade, pizza and restaurants, swimming pool all open. All instructions followed. Staff friendly and informative and helpful. We were in an autism friendly van.
