Not the most warmest welcome, however, this did not change how we felt about this place. It was beautiful. There are many camping spots you can park your car next too and by the stream running through making it tranquil. The views were stunning. Lovely stargazing. There were facilities half way down the campsite so you don't have to go all the way to the beginning (main facility block). The showers were not too bad! We were also lucky that it was quiet during September and were no children around at that time. We were lucky to have lovely friendly campsite neighbours. A campsite we certainly would go back too. Can't wait!

We phoned the campsite in the evening as we were desperate to find a place to pitch and other campsites refused to let us in at 10 PM. It was kind from the owner to allow us to arrive late and pitch up whilst we had nowhere else to go. However, the next day it was unnecessary for them to approach us and pressurise us to leave. The lady walked up to us and asked when we were planning to leave. I said that we will be leaving in about 20 minutes. She informed us, that "the check out time is 10:30 which was 2 hours ago". Having visited tens of campsites in UK, this is the second time that this happened to me and it made me feel unwelcome and not willing to return. What the lady should have done is to come and ask if we enjoyed the stay and what our plans for today are. This would turn into a positive conversation and in the course of such talk she would find out, that we were about to leave. I understand check out times in hotels are tight due to cleaning and other guests arriving. But what is the importance for tight check out times at a campsite please can someone explain? Especially that there were plenty of spaces and nobody waiting for our spot? Please DO NOT do this again, do not rush people to leave and if you want to remind people that it is time to leave then you can do this in a different way so that people have a good memories and wish return. However, thank you for letting us in late in the evening, this is important as you could save people's lives this way, thanks for that.

As a family of 3 we decided to camp for a few days. When we arrived we were completely overwhelmed with the beauty of the location and later discovered it was in an ideal location, just 5 miles from Bala lake and village. There is also a small local shop & pub a small walk down the road. The facilities were great & very (toilets & showers) You can also have a BBQ & your own firepit (raised off the grass) all for £20 a night! Definitely recommend! Gorgeous place. Thank you!

Lovely peaceful camping and you could paddle in the stream on a hot day.

Lovely little site, very clean and spacious, views amazing, only fault and its only minor, there is no elson disposal, but does have a drain for brown water waste. Definitely be going again, still plenty to see and explore in the area.
