Stunning glamping pod and the owners are amazing. Ever little touch was just above and beyond all expectations. Little one absolutely loved it and had a ball in the cinema tepee. Definitely be visiting again when they have space 🤯

Perfection from start to finish, turning off the A6 and winding down the country roads, started the countryside retreat we had envisaged. After a few short miles admiring the countryside we turned up Horsepark Lane. Nestled between trees and glorious views of farmers fields we really did feel like we had escaped to the countryside. My partner had surprised me with the ‘Romance Package’ and upon arriving we were met with indulgent chocolate covered strawberries, fluffy marshmallows, brownies and a bottle of Prosecco with rose petals sprinkled across the bed. It was time for a quick outfit change then my partner, the Prosecco and I headed straight into the hot tub. Watching the sky change from light to dark under the glow of the lights around the hot tub was something spectacular. The breeze grew stronger and we could see the leaves dancing on the trees but we were sheltered from the wind and toasty in the hot tub. A restful nights sleep meant it was time for breakfast, we had treated ourself to the ‘Breakfast Package’ and in the fridge was glass containers filled with everything to make breakfast. It was a challenge on a small hob but the results were fantastic, along with a full English breakfast we had coffee and orange juice outside whilst watching the farmer in the field. We opted to head out for an explore and within 10 minutes we landed at the beach. Knott-end-on-sea is a tiny little village where you can walk along the beach and take in the breathtaking views of the Lake District - we finished our stroll with an ice cream from the cafe! I found out that the Ice Cream was locally made in Cockerham and we could have visited the parlour as it’s only 15 minutes drive from HorsePark Hideaway. Heading back to the cabin, it was time for a BBQ! We had bought the ‘BBQ Package’ so one id fired up the BBQ it was time for succulent burgers, sizzling sausages and tasty kebabs! We waited until the sun was going down and lit the fire pit, we snuggled under the blankets watching the flames dance from the fire pit and we even managed to see the bats flying around! We bumped into Caroline and Josh who own HPH and learnt that the entire place has been designed and handcrafted by Josh and Caroline. The time they spent designing and building this bespoke cabin is incredible. They have created a calm and cosey haven to escape to. The additional packages turn a simple night away into a luxurious experience and it takes away all the planning and thinking. Caroline and Josh have gone to extra lengths to ensure it was Covid secure and Caroline was quick to respond to any questions and queries! I cannot wait to return to Horsepark Hideaway!
