Recommended to us by our B&B, and the food didn't disappoint. Customer service was excellent! We didn't book, although recommended, but the friendly staff was very accommodating.
Limited street parking at the front, however, there is a large parking area in the rear.
Would recommend.
We stayed 3 nights here recently. What a great hotel and we highly recommend this place. We stayed in room 5 and the room was large and spacious. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The food is amazing with big portion sizes. It’s highly recommended to book in the restaurant as to not miss out. They are following the COVID regulations the best they can. The car park was full on returning one day but plenty of parking in the village.
Good honest food and friendly service, had the mixed grill which was superb. I cleared my plate which was no easy task with the size of the huge portions. Not the cheapest but not expensive either, paid 19.95 for the grill but was well worth it
Great place nice enough food. One star lost for running out of non alcoholic beer on a Saturday night guess not an issue for most though. They was a really great vibe across the place and we really enjoyed our evening.
I booked for a family stay with breakfast.....on arrival told this is NOT part of the deal but with family that is what you need to book and was told to take it up with the booking company and couldn't help which was very disappointing. The cottage itself is NOT SUITABLE FOR FAMILIES....very little amenities available and l would say at best 3 people.
The staff were lovely though hence the 3 stars and food was ok but you are limited as you are in the middle of nowhere.
It was not a bad experience but equally not great for families either but the best part are definitely the staff who were wonderful.
