We have stayed at near moss farm several times and this is an hidden gem,peaceful and relaxing,spotless well kept site,each pitch is well serviced and tidy,the shower block is immaculate,on arrival we were met by Greg who escorted us to our pitch and made us welcome and nothing was too much trouble,the site is a little out of the way but the village of pressall is 10mins drive away with a store and chippy,there is a micro brewery just down the lane which is definitely worth a visit,there is fishing on site which is day ticket and holds a good head of coarse fish,you will not be disappointed with your stay here if your after a peaceful break.

Anyone looking for a seasonal site should bypass this money orientated one.Last year it deducted one month off the season and increased the fees by £150.So indirectly it was increased by £285 .Approx 20%.This year it has been increased by £290 20% approx again.Although these were massive increases no improvement or amenities were made to the site.They compare fees with other sites,but don't compare how well they are run and what amenities they have.Like a Shop ,Cafe, Restaurant or Bar.They have nothing,so it is a few miles car ride to the nearest shop if you require anything.One thing they do have is fishing (which you pay for, but isn't very good) for it isn't looked after correctly.They make things awkward if they know you are leaving by unfounded accusations.I am not the first person this has happened to.This site has deteriorated drastically in the last 3yrs,and will never be recommended for any awards.In the last 2yrs the fees have increased indirectly by £575.The owner is the most miserable person I know.He doesn't greet anyone with a hello,or a chat,and I have never seen him smile.I must say that they have done me a favour along with all the other loyal customers who are leaving this year.It is pure greed.Beware of fake reviews.

Best site ever we love this toilet and showers always immaculately clean Lovely dog field Freddy loves it, very well kept and clean, owners are really nice and friendly 😁😬
