Adhurst Yurts + Outside Institute UK

Glamping at it's finest! Idyllic setting on the South Downs, great to get away from the troubles of the world at present. We actually drove but it's easily accessible by train, that's what we'd do when visiting again. Take your own food and enjoy the outdoor kitchen or get a great pizza at the Queens' Head which is a short walk away through the forest. Alison is a great host as well, everything dealt with without hassle and she clearly has a great care for the natural world. Hope to visit again soon!

Absolutely awesome 4 days. Hosts i found to be really warm and friendly folks. Accommodation and setting was perfect. Everywhere you look or walk you are enveloped by the most beautiful trees, so much so that after a few days it almost feels daunting to literally step back out into the 'real' world. Almost all the conveniences of home, yet felt proper rustic because of surrounding views and use of beautiful waney edged timber. All the accommodations were occupied yet still felt like the only ones there, loads of space and privacy. Hot water showering, outdoors with the canopy of trees open above you is a really special touch. The fire bowls they use are incredible, i bought one two days after returning back to London. The walks and trails around the property are great. Found a beautiful viewing platform tucked away in the trees, which we then visited again the following day with some food and drink, spending a lazy afternoon boozing, held by the surrounding forest. And of course if you are a dog owner, your dog will be the happiest you've seen it in while. Now that i have found Adhurst, i will definitely be returning as often as possible. Just had the most wonderful 4 nights at Adhurst Yurts. Complete decompression from our hectic normal lives. Everything about this place was special and extremely well thought out - it was rustic yet amazingly convenient. Hot running water in Willow Yurt and even a bath, but no electricity. This forced us to switch our devices off and enjoy the company and peacefulness of the woods. Alison was really welcoming and changed out our ice blocks when we asked and the breakfast provided on order was delicious. I loved waking up early as it was light in the Yurt in the morning and just chilling drinking coffee listening to the birds and the squirrels. Highly recommend this place and will be going back.

I haven't been here , but seen this on Four in a bed , and I think it looks nice ! Bit of a treck from where I live, but I would really like to go !

Having to flee our homes (a beautiful new build apartment in Hampshire sadly with not so nice people around but we had no clue) for security after an attack happened on myself and my partner. We had to seek accommodation until we found a new tenancy elsewhere. My partner and I took to searching online to see if anywhere would help us with accommodation (along with our dog) we wanted somewhere away from the incident that happened and where we could walk our dog in peace and be away from the group back home. My partner heard back from Adhurst and long story short, we first had hope and then we were asked to share our social medias? (bearing in mind we were just attacked and verbally abused it's a lot to ask a victim) but my partner shared his instagram profile AND facebook. (mine are private so I did not share). I also want to mention we were willing to pay! this was in no way in our minds going to be a freebie. When asked for our social medias they also bragged about an artist staying there...not sure why? Not important information and frankly not impressed. We are decent people, and if you like to boast then fine, so can we....we have a Porsche and we have beautiful things in our lives. Then weirdly we have not heard back since...it's been over a week. Is it because we are vegan? atheist? .... what is it. From the fact we heard nothing shows you simply do not care and have no heart. Where is your humanity?? I'm disgusted. A man attacks a woman outside her home and nothing???? no reply. Someone attacked us....what more did you want from us? Now we are in a lovely hotel room. Because someone else had compassion and empathy. Also we made sure to pay the amount as normal which is £100 per night.
