Highly recommended campsite situated at the gateway to the Elan Valley. Cycle path right next to the entrance will take you to the numerous dams in the valley. We had a great 3 night stay in September! Currently there are a limited number of facilities on site 3 shower cubicles (very clean!). They are currently building a new shower and toilet block. No electrical hook ups for tents yet they're working on those.

Only stayed here for a few nights whilst touring Wales. Nice level site with facilities. No shop, but was not concerned about that. Only a short walk to the dam and the whole area with the 6 dams is magnificent. I would definitely recommend.

Well... we booked 3 weeks in advance for a July date at £7.50 ea. Covid stopped that so we asked if we could get a refund. No response. Thought we’d try it as late visitors in September got charged £10 each per pup tent and frankly it’s not worth that. Portaloos. Cold water sink. A big Caravan turned up at 10.30 and nearly ran my tent over and then pitched 8ft from my head. Lol definitely should have wildcamped a mile up the rd! As usual campsite full of camper vans playing music till midnight😐 #whatever

Very nice peaceful campsite with good facilties. The free WiFi hardly ever worked and the roads leading to the pitches were a bit muddy even though they were meant to be gravelled but these are small faults given the stunning location and otherwise nice site.

A terrific location for adventures in and around the Elan Valley (EV). A good cycle path right outside the site. The EV visitor centre is a ten minute walk away. Had problems with pre-arrival communications so didn't receive gate code, no - not even in spam, but that was resolved with a few calls. Be sure to get the codes before reaching the valley because mobile reception is pretty dire. Very modern facilities but limited in quantity until the new ones are built. Owners/staff work hard to keep the place in good order. It'll be interesting to see how the site looks after the work is completed. There are no permanent on-line staff so out of hours support can be a challenge if arriving late.
