Last guest's rubbish was still in bins and empty beer bottles next to it.
Also dirty breakfast dishes and opened carton of milk on table.
Dirty towel on floor in shower.
In addition to all this I arrived (before 7pm) to a locked door and a message saying that, if I didn't have 2 access codes, that I needed to contact somebody called Martin.
Hotel is also hard to find as it just looks like a house.
Total shambles all round.
Only saving grace is it's location; roughly one third of the way from town centre to Racecourse.
Fantastic hotel with great staff. An amazing find, right by the racecourse. Chris is a lovely guy with time to chat if you need help. If anything needs fixing, call on Martin better known as Taff. These two guys are great.
This place is awesome, would definately use again
Always a great stay here. Its self check in is easy to follow. There's a great selection of breakfast in your room to take advantage of. Place just needs a bit of an update but for the money you can't really complain. Would happily stay here again if I'm working in the area.
Clean basic rooms and a shared kitchen area for preparing meals. Decent free breakfast. My only bugbears are the nylon carpet which needs renewed and the thin mattresses which are uncomfortable. Overall a decent, clean budget hotel
