We really enjoyed our stay here. There was my husband and I, our 15 year old and 2 year old. The room was a good size and had everything you may want (towels, TV, iron, ironing board, trouser press, tea and coffee facilities, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, soap). The hotel was clean and tidy and the rooms were a good size for all of us. We were lucky that just outside of our window there was a little family of bunny rabbits that kept coming out of the trees, much to my 2 year olds delight. The beds were really comfortable and it was quiet and relaxing. There were still restrictions in place when we went due to covid-19, so you needed to book the restaurant if you wanted an evening meal, although we didn't eat there. For breakfast you could either book for a cooked breakfast in the restaurant area, or book a take out breakfast. We chose the latter option and we would eat in our room. It was lovely to see that rather than the usual continental breakfast, you could choose a bacon or sausage or egg roll which was lovely and warm, and you also got a piece of fruit, a croissants, a yoghurt and fruit juice which was perfect for us. Would definitely stay again.

Very covid safe. Friendly and helpful staff. Food very good given mad world we are in at moment. Comfortable room with great shower.

Holiday Inn are Thieves and pickpockets We booked a week in advance and paid £152 for a night stay at Holiday Inn Fareham - Solent, Hampshire on 29th August. The price which included breakfast and dinner was for two adults and a child. On our return, I noted that Holiday Inn have charged a further £34.95 to my Credit Card without my knowledge and authorisation. So, when I wrote to them questing the unwarranted and unauthorised charges, received a rude and unapologetic response that the charges were for the adult meal that the child had! But went on to say “however we have made a mistake and over charges you by £11.30, which will be credited to your card”! I have never experienced such treatment from a professional thief or a pickpocket. Although, I copied their Chief Executive, Keith Barr ([email protected]) however no response was received from these unprofessional hoteliers. I wonder what response, if any, we would had complaining about the poor and dirty condition of the room and very old, lumpy and uncomfortable beds! Never again – damn Holiday Inn

Unable to flush toilet. But there are many utilities and necessities and also fast wifi. Great hotel. I recommend staying if travelling to Fareham or the surrounding area!
