Shambles of a surgery. Reception staff are the rudest people I've possibly encountered in a medical setting. Be prepared to argue and be codesended to every time she answers your call. The Doctors don't know what the surgery can or cannot offer as they are not familiar with it. Prescriptions are never available when they are supposed to be. The place needs a shake up! Reception staff at the very least need some extra training. We come here at our most vulnerable we all deserve to be treated confidently and respectfully!!

I don’t even know where to start! It is the WORST practice I have ever come across. I moved from a different city and this is the closest to my new house, I should have checked the reviews before joining. I would rather get a flight to any other GP practice than walk to this one. I have requested my medication since last week, via phone calls and emails. No response to the emails. I rang everyday and went to the practice but was told everyday that I could pick up my medication the next day. I was diagnosed with Lupus and have to take my medications everyday and I made sure to contact them about my medication before I ran out and reminded each person that picked up the call that I was running out. Since I moved from another GP surgery when I moved to Eastleigh, they told me that my information wasn’t sent to them so I rang the previous practice and was told the opposite. I have rang everyday of the week to the point where they mentioned my name before I introduced myself. I have missed my medication the whole week, I am new to the city and stuck on what to do. They finally got the doctor to ring me who told me that she could only give me one of the medications before receiving my information from the previous practice, I explained to her that I was told that it was sent already then frustrated, I asked her what to do now as I am getting very worried about my health due to missing medications for a whole week, she told me she doesnt know and just authorised one of the medications. On my way from picking up the medication, I went by the practice to ask whats going on, as soon as I opened my mouth the lady knew my name, which tells how many times I rang them. She told me that she would get the doctor to sign off the rest if my medications that evening (Wednesday) and I clearly asked her if I would be able to pick it up the next day as I have already missed a few days of it, she said yes. At this point, I have missed a few days of medications and just received one that the doctor authorised; so I took that one and missed the rest. The whole dose was a mess already and became very anxious on what will happen to me as I had never missed a dose before. The next day, no medication was sent to the pharmacy so I missed another day. As the practice was closed, I rang them the next day. I woke up with a very bad headache, muscle pain and more anxious than usual. Something was/is seriously wrong with me physically and mentally. I rang them and the lady had mo idea whats going on. After having to explain to her AGAIN that I had been asking for my medications since the week before and that I hadn't taken a full dose for a few days, she put me on hold for 10mins then told me that she CANT EXPLAIN to me why it hasn’t been done yet but will make sure its done this afternoon. I, again, told her that I really need it coz I have missed alot already, she said that she will get it done and I can pick it up from the pharmacy today. I waited a few hours then decided to send another email to complain and remind them that I really need the medications. No response I rang the pharmacy only to be told that they havent sent any medication yet. So I rang them, the practice is closed for the day even though the closing time for today is 10pm, according to online. So, I haven’t taken my medication for a week and they have closed. I had to ring my Lupus specialists to let them know whats been going on incase I die. I don’t understand why they kept telling me it will be done then not do it. My health was not taken seriously at all. I am trying my best not to be stressful so I have stayed calm when speaking with them as stress intensifies Lupus symptoms. If anything happens to me, Archers practice in Eastleigh should be accountable.

I went to the practice today for a blood test and was seen by a nurse called Tracey. I’m very nervous with needles and explained this before we started. She got me a glass of water and told me to lie on the bed in the room, she was so gentle that I didn’t feel a thing! Once we had finished she told me to take my time and to get up when I was ready. She was lovely and made me feel at ease! Definitely hope to see her next time.

One certain receptionist is the rudest, uncompasionste and ignorant I've ever come across, how she's still employed I dont know after reading all the other reviews on here! Be ready for an argument when ever you call!!!!
