Nice and quiet hotel. Central for sites and amenities. Food was lovely, especially the artisan pizzas they do in an evening. We had a large room with a garden view, which was superb and the bed was super comfy. Fantastic value for money.
We ran a corporate retreat at Hook House and could not have been more happy with our choice. The staff were truly wonderful, took care of every detail we requested and many we didn’t, and made it feel more like a home than a hotel. Could not recommend more highly.
The house is lovely and rooms comfy - so if booking for yourself it is also highly recommend.

Fantastic location, wonderful building and amazing staff. The breakfast was really good and dinner too! The double bed room we had was a nice size with a very comfy bed. The bathroom was nice too with a decent sized shower with good pressure. There is also free parking.
Charming, small hotel, you expected to meet Agatha Christie or Jane Marple there. I was there for a company Christmas do, so cannot say what it's like in normal times. Parking was a bit tight, but there were over 100 of us. The food was good, especially considering they were catering to a large crowd. I'd like to go back again, but with just my wife or a small group of friends.
