I can't even get through to this surgery unless I press option (emergency). I ended up messaging only to be told to liaise with a secretary! How am I supposed to do that when nobody answers the phone! unhelpful and I'd really like to know what they're doing in there. There's barely any patients being seen yet their service is worse than before the pandemic started. They can't all be doing Covid related things.

Flu vaccinations today carried out brilliantly by the staff from Emsworth surgery at the Baptist Church in Emsworth!

I have been with Emsworth Surgery all 52 years of my life. They have looked after me for all that time. I am very grateful for the kindness, help and care I have received from the moment I call, or pop in to arrange an appointment, or see the doctor. By far my biggest thank you, to everyone there, is for the way they looked after my recently departed Mum. She suffered from a multitude of problems for 20 years requiring many many visits to the Surgery. Every time she was treated with care, respect and dignity. That meant a lot to both of us. When you are ill, or a family member, relative or friend is ill, it is a bad time for all involved. It may be you that is sick, or worry for someone else. I cannot imagine the stress of dealing with hundreds of anxious, ill, worried people. Yet the receptionists and GPs have to. Not for a moment, or a day, or a week, but for months on end. Non stop. There are far too few of these precious people looking after US. They are amazing people. Every one. They deserve our greatest respect. Please, when you feel ill, bad, fed up, anxious, remember these people CARE. More than you can imagine. They will do everything in their power to help you. I speak from first hand experience with my Mum. Thank you Emsworth Surgery. All of you. You are great. Adam Please, when you feel awful, and you phone up, or drop in, please be kind too.

After a shaky start to my experience at the Emsworth surgery some two years ago I was surprised and delighted to have received a follow up call this morning from Dr W heckling that I was ok after a visit to surgery last week. Don’t let anyone tell you the NHS is no good. When they are needed for genuine cases they are there even if under pressure from time to time.

Absolutely useless called up to make an appointment to be told the receptionist nothing till the 20th 2 weeks away, I could barely breath had a tight chest, headache for 4 days she didnt even ask what symptoms I had, later I went down to the walk in st Mary's recieved excellent service, was diagnosed with suspected sepsis, free taxi straight to qa when I pratically passed out on the floor, they rushed me straight through, onto a bed drips stuck in my arms blood tests, overnight stay finally diagnosed with pneumonia, the doctor said your GP should of seen you straight away and prescribed you with antibiotics or referred you straight to us. Sadly this is the case of many gp surgery across the country where an unqualified admin staff is the key holder and puts lives at risk time to get rid of these money grabbing surgery and invest the money else where in the NHS
