Clean pub and nice surroundings. Sunday lunch was tasty but maybe a pound or two over priced for what you got but it was reasonably cooked. Nothing special about presentation or food offered just good standard quality. Staff were efficient and helpful. £61 for four lunches and non alcoholic drinks.

Really enjoyed our anniversary meal. Made even better with the government 50% off! We shared the camembert garlic and rosemary it was perfect as a shared starter really tasty. For main i had the sirloin steak with peppercorn and brandy sauce. Upgraded to sweet potatoe fries. So beautiful. My husband had the chef's signature hunters chicken. He thought it was excellent! Very satisfied Shared an Eton mess. Only 4 stars as i asked for recommendations and the waitress didn't have any. Although the waitress who served my red wine was very friendly. Would definitely recommend. Covid-19 side of things was well catered for too.

A great experience today by having lunch outside in the warm sunshine. A professional routine demonstrated as you walk in during these COVID restrictions. Met at the door and fully briefed on what the rules were and clearly given. The staff conducting their duties with a smile and with personality which made us feel relaxed. The food was of a high quality with a very short waiting time. All in all, a lovely afternoon visit from Poole and we will be visiting again soon, free parking on a Sunday, bonus. Great job.

A lovely atmosphere to this pub and good social distancing in place. Very tasty food and a nice pub to come with friends and family alike. All staff were friendly and helpful even if at times service was a bit slow. Would definitely recommend coming here.

As quick as they can be on the door given the circumstances of track & trace. Explanation was given and rules around the restaurant helpful, we only came for a drink but Jody managed to get us to have a sharing board.. I’m glad she did good was top standard. Thank you.
