Sadly I was quite disgusted with my visit to The Alma Inn. When you walk into the pub the layout seems quite nice with a little pizza place on your right. So I got seated with my girlfriend and we decided to order the carvery. We both had turkey and were taking to get our food by the chef. The amount of options available were poor and limited. A combination of soggy frozen veg, lumpy onion gravy and over sat roasted potatoes were not what I thinking of when I thought of having a roast dinner. So I would definitely not recommend the this place for a carvery.

A very comfortable family restaurant, with a bar (selling a range of achols and soft drinks) an ice cream machine with sauces available, an arcade machine for the younger kids, a carvery to self serve and a new pizza section to make your custom pizza! I would highly recommend coming here, it has vegan options and the staff were happy to help with allergies and request (they were very friendly) they cleaned regularly and made us comftable. They have good deals on the food options and is a great place to go for any meal your fancy. I can't think of many downsides other then there isn't much outdoor space but overall it's one of my favourite restaurants!

Staff were amazingly friendly and helpful, dont know how but they knew my mum VERY well.... ...only let down is that the food is frozen food that has been cooked. Peas like bullets, carrots like mush and meat stringy enough to make rope...though there is lots of it. Kids had the pizza and it was amazing, the wife had gammon which was to die for...maybe it was just poor on the carvery.

Although very quiet when we got there. Food was piping hot and tasted good.

Brilliant carvery Friendly service .we use it the Alma quite frequently.as food is fresh . 💯
