Lovely place, staff were very friendly and welcoming. Tried a pint of their own cider which was really tasty alongside a pizza. Great atmosphere, will definitely be back when in the area again. Very covid aware 😊

The Blazing Saddle pizza is fabulous, really tasty. Likewise, the house salad, although I do think it could do with a couple more tomatoes. A couple of observations. 1. We visited on a Tuesday. Nowhere on the menu did it mention the Tuesday special offer - a pizza and a pint for a tenner. We were only aware of it when we we're given a flyer for the offer with our bill. 2. We called in without a booking. There was a free table and social distancing appeared to being observed. However, there was no mention of track and trace. This is the sixth time I've eaten out post lockdown and every other place has taken my name and telephone number for track and trace purposes. I do believe compliance with government track and trace guidelines is voluntary for dining establishments but nonetheless, it's disappointing that The Winchester Stable chooses to ignore the guidelines.

This is a great place, never thought I would enjoy tasting cider this much! The camembert is amazing. Staff was lovely.
