Lovely place to stay in next to Marwell Zoo, friendly staff. Food was alright, standard wasn't really high hence the 4 stars. Also the pool was cold, which wasn't the nicest thing. Great beds and lovely shower tho!

Great Hotel Manager excellent Food delicious. And it was next to the zoo which made a lovely overnight stay I was treated by my Daughter which was brilliant xxx xx

Stayed a few times now with work. Big rooms, clean and tidy. Nice walks on the doorstep and dog friendly. Only criticism is bar and food is very expensive.

Reception staff very friendly and helpful... Room very nice and bed is wonderfully comfortable... Toilet seat though is hanging off and one of the drawers in the unit can't be shut... A bit dodgy if you get up at night. Booked a table in the restaurant for 8...it wasn't ready so had to wait in bar area... Ordered meal and drinks... Starter came and was beautiful but had to wait 40 minutes for drinks (though we were given a complimentary prosecco for their mistake) Food really was good but not happy with the service. The general jungle feel of the place is nice but everything seems rundown and in need of some tlc. Breakfast was OK considering covid restrictions but could have been hotter. Can't comment on the swimming pool cos not been in yet.

Liked it here. Post COVID-19 Lock down its got to be hard to run things 'normally'. Lovely to see the staff cleaning high traffic touch points regularly and masks provided by reception and other areas along with plenty of hand gels and hand wipes WELL DONE. We did experience some food and beverages issues at dinner and breakfast and our comments were taken seriously by reception on checkout. Some touch ups and grounds work are now needed; we are returning customers and seen some changes in the need for work to be carried out. Staff here are lovely, friendly and welcoming along with a pleasant will do help out.
