A truly lovely site.
Host was very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble.
Site is flat and very tidy with excellent facilities, and easily placed for lovely walks along the canal path.
We ordered cream tea's on arrival and they were delicious. So nice that we ordered breakfast baps the following morning.
Would also recommend the Bull & Dog for lovely "pub grub"

This is a really lovely place to stay. The owners were so friendly and welcoming. I recommend the cream tea on arrival, an indulgent treat with homemade scones, and I'm pretty sure, homemade jam too! Delicious!
Just back home from a lovely three days camping at Abbey Green, lovely quiet site, lovely welcome from the owners, and the showers toilets washing up area excellent best I've ever seen at a campsite , thank you again and hope to see you very soon
Great little campsite with excellent facilities, in a beautiful countryside location. Only 30 minutes walk to Whixhall Marina, and a short drive to Wem.
Great stay. Lazy couple of days. Can highly recommend.
