I have just left tesco in wrexham where I was told to queue behind 11 trolleys full of groceries where i had only 2 items and the self service was empty. I complained that I will have to wait for 2 cashiers to deal with all those trollies before i could buy my 2 items at the self service and was told if i dont want to shop here sir thats your choice! I can only assume the guy on duty right now is a jobsworth! I shall complain to head office! And post on facebook! Unbeleivable!

A dying store is a dying store. The Whitchurch branch of Tesco has been on its last legs for many many months now. The store itself is poorly maintained and stock levels are, well, I'll tell you when the item arrives. Oh yes, let us not forget the less than subtle 'security guard', a gentleman that stalks you as you shop, making for an extremely uncomfortable and traumatic experience. The main manager (yes there is more than one) has a lot to deal with, her attitude and professionalism is commendable. Sadly her potential is truly going to waste in her current posting. Tesco Whitchurch, is sadly on its way out; a neglected and obsolete hybrid, that's neither an 'extra' or 'express', it's kind of between that really has no point nor purpose. Sad to see it's slow decay, but change is difficult, sometimes you resist change and sometimes change will drag you along, whether you like it or not. Great shame.
