I was redeployed to the MIU during the first wave of the covid 19 pandemic. I was just a little nervous, but my fears were soon allayed but the staff and friendly faces I met.
In total I was working alongside the staff here for 11 weeks. But I made friends for a life time, they were kind caring compassionate people.
I was sad to leave my new working family and will always think of them with fondness.
Would like to thank all the staff.who cared for terrence oneill.They did there best for him.Thank you.

Find it hard to write a review - I honestly want to be positive but I believe my mother - Frances Horton - was considered to be a nuisance. She was terminally ill and died here - some staff were lovely, others not so much - sadly I've had a lot of negative comments about the staff from relatives who visited mum. Too late for me now but please remember you are dealing with people who were once considered, dynamic, generous, bubbly - everyone's friend - with huge personalities. Be respectful and aware!!! You too may be old and ill one day.
In case of apocalypse you are welcome for eating and using the boy scouts's stuff located in the back of the place. For references read David Moody's bestseller "Autumn" and you might survive the living-dead disease (maybe..)!! :-)
