Awful, everything! Food, staff and inside dirty and dreary...Don't know how it's still open. Only leaving 1 star to be able to leave a review
As we understand the kitchen had been closed for 5 weeks this was it's first day of food service 50 minutes for food to arrive herb potatoes came out uncooked .
Chicken bacon salad chicken so dry cucumber hard to find all other food very basic nothing special.
Deserts order 30 min wait only to be told they have no jam roly poly it took them 30 min to tell us why so long .
We were the only 4 people on a lunchtime how can they run out and take some long .
Wouldn't go back for a long time
Awful experience. The chef should be sacked !!tThe lamb shank that I ordered was cold inside, and therefore not cooked properly so I returned the food and walked out of this place still hungry.
We've been here a few times over the years and this is a lovely pub just of the A10. It's got a lovely beer garden and it serves lovey food and beer. What's do brilliant about this is that it offers 2for1 on all main meals everyday of the week. The food is lovely and we've never had any complaints.
We were very happy with the vegan menu, the vegan dishes tasted delicious, and they were good size portions. We missed some extra serviettes. Altogether we had a nice time, thank you!
