Terrible. Food not cooked fresh. Avoid or ask for food to be cooked fresh not ''reheated'' left overs. Me and a friend deiced to walk the River Lea, after 20 miles we were really looking forward to some decent, hot filling food. I ordered a burger and triple cooked chips. The burger arrived and its was barely warm, it was also evident that it was sat out for a long time as it had that dehydrated crust that forms when food has been out all day and was ''reheated'' to serve to me. I am absolutely disgusted that they would attempt to pass this off at £10.99! The chips thankfully were actually cooked, but not triple cooked as described for £3.99 extra. I did mention to a server that the burger wasn't warm, let alone hot. She sent out the manager, said is it not hot all all? He apologies and said it would be sorted. Thankfully I got a fresh hot cooked burger eventually. But the manager didn't come around again to check in. Terrible

Nice pub with a lovely beer garden on the river. It’s a big pub with plenty of tables. The food is nice too.

The waiter was helpful especially due to social distancing. Very organised and the food came quick and was quite good. The price was not too expensive, for what you're getting anyway

Lovely spot next to the river. Staff were friendly and took time to explain how it all works now with the current conditions. We sat outside and I noted that did a thorough job of cleaning all the surfaces of the table and chairs when another party left before us so felt very comfortable. The food hit the spot after a few hours cycling up the Lea Valley.

Excellent real ales x 5 and fabulous roast dinners. Plus fully app-based service since Covid! Had a lovely table in sun by river 👍
