Lovely place. Pros- Mattresses so comfortable and lots of room. Beautiful setting and clean. Cons- freezing in winter, storage heaters only and no fire or way to get warm in evening. Badly insulated too which is surprising given it’s the nation trust you would expect them to do their bit for environment. Also sofa chairs not too comfy after long walks in the day. But for what you pay it’s nice enough with Very friendly rangers. Would be super in summer.

Great for the kids and dog! Main kitchen and seating area was a bit 'community centre' compared to some other bunkhouse.
