Nice site, quite basic. I didn't really see many staff but the ones I did see were quite friendly. The shop was nice and there is a lovely cafe. There is a small play area for the children which seemed to keep them happy. We had a large group of people, friends of the owners, who made quite a lot of noise the first night and nothing was done about it. Nice beaches in the surrounding areas and some nice walks from the site. I probably wouldn't want to go back but that's only because I didn't like the area, if the site was In a better location it would be better. If you want a chilled getaway on site then it would be fine, you could have been anywhere!

Great little find, welcoming management, easy to find. Walking distance to beach, breathtaking views of swarming crows, and open countryside. Nice little cafe on site, very relaxing stay.

Lovely site under new management. Christie and Tim are more than welcoming. Neat, clean and pleasant just to sit and chill. My husband is shielding and we met up with our son and family who is also shielding. Tim managed to get us a pitch next to one another so managed to social distance but still be able to social distance. Thank you both, we will certainly return.

Just came back from fantastic weekend away in the motorhome at Acorn caravan park in llantwit major, very relaxing couple of days, good facilities, the on site cafe was excellent,good walking trails to the beach and a 15min walk into the town with plenty of shops and dog friendly pubs,Many thanks to Tim and the team for looking after us.we will see you in the new year

Campsite in a beautiful surrounding and close to (within walking distance) all local amenities and beach. Site small quiet and friendly. Café serves good quality local food at a very reasonable price. The couple running it Tim and Kristie excellent and made me feel very welcome. The only negative was condition of games room which I'm assured is being addressed. Will be booking again soon and looking forward to another pleasant staycation.
