The place is lovely, beautiful surroundings, good view., food was delicious but a bit overpriced. The portions were small for this much money. There wasn't really a wide choice of food. Overall it's a great place to enjoy a drink in a nice place with a good company.

Fantastic food in lovely surroundings. Excellent service from friendly staff. Highly recommend for special occasions, dates etc. Only criticism is they could have better draught beer options

Brilliant place, it's got it all really nice friendly and helpful staff, delicious food in the restaurant, lovely rooms and when events are allowed, very nice function room. All this surrounded by gorgeous country side, but only few minutes drive from the A1(M) Definitely a must visit place

We had lunch at the restaurant and it was fabulous. The food is so reasonable for the quality. The decor is lovely and the staff were friendly and attentive. We had the beef carpaccio and sage and onion soup to start, both were fabulous and the chicken kiev and burger for mains. It was all delicious. Followed up by Chocolate fondant and the cheese board which had a fabulous selection of cheeses. Highly recommend!

Wonderful building/s with fabulous, rustic atmosphere and decor. Knowledgeable, friendly and helpful staff. Amazing food.
