Modern and well decorated pub with very friendly staff. We were visiting Kent and enjoyed the selection of local drinks. Scallops were well cooked with a lovely sauce, truffle mac and cheese was so well balanced and one of the best I’ve had. We also loved the sourdough bread starter - didn’t expect a whole loaf but gladly took it away to finish later! Would’ve given 4.5 if it was option as fish was lovely but was under seasoned - totally fixed with a bit of salt though. Would recommend a visit for a relaxing evening!

Without doubt, the best sunday roast dinner we've had in a pub or restaurant. We had beef but the pork looked delicious! Massive portion. Too full to sample dessert but they looked lovely too. We were fortunate to be able to sit in the garden by the river as weather was lovely, but inside it looked very inviting. Son and husband enjoyed the craft beers on offer. Will definitely return.

Absolutely fabulous dining, food was outstanding and possibly the best roast we’ve eaten in a long long time, and our dog Wolfie loved his roast dinner too! Friendliest of staff who could not have been more accommodating if they tried. Loved the interior for its quirky yet vintage feel. Great selection of beers. Came away feeling thoroughly chuffed with the whole dining experience and will definitely be back.

Really friendly welcoming staff. Wonderful service - nothing too much trouble. Food is tasty and good value and good portion sizes. Really recommend this lovely, cosy, traditional pub with great good and atmosphere 👍

You need to go to this pup...it’s recently been renovated and the inside is stunning! The best pub food I’ve had in a long time and the choice of drinks is great. I’m excited about the outdoor bar which the bar manager tells me will be opening soon it’s very cool and contemporary. I can’t recommend enough!
