Lovely atmosphere, great food, fantastic staff and superb location, what more can I say!
I stayed at the Whistling Badger for two nights and what a shame I couldn't have stayed longer! THE STAFF ARE AMAZING! what a lovely bunch of people. I couldn't have been made more welcome. I really can't say enough praise for the staff watching them going about their business and looking after the customers in an exemplary manner.
The food was really good again with great service. I had a burger with chips and coleslaw and it was cooked perfectly and really tasty.
I also stayed on one of the rooms which I have no complaints about.
The whistling badger is under new management and I think it will go from strength to strength!!
Absolutely fantastic, I visited here on my two night stay in Llanidloes and both the meals were top notch and excellent value for money. As for the service I couldn't have been made more welcome. Two different members of staff on each night but delivering the same high level of customer service. Should you find yourself in Llanidloes make this place your first port of call. Brilliant food beer and service
We had a really enjoyable meal and evening at the Whistling Badger. 5 of us shared tapas, and we had one child's sausage and mash. All of the food was delicious, and the menu had plenty of choice. And on top of that, the landlady and staff were very helpful, welcoming and friendly. Our son Billy has learning difficulties and was made particularly welcome and was made to feel very special, which he was extremely pleased about!!! Thank you, highly recommend this pub, for either a meal or a drink.
