The cottages are a bit dated but before covid were due for an upgrade which will go ahead later in year.
Cannot fault the staff, very friendly and cheerful. Always happy to help with a smile.
If anything, you should book a cream tea. Only one word amazing. !!!
Breakfast is supposed to be limited but we saw no sign. Good variation of foods.

Nice clean room, pleasant staff and fellow guests. Plenty of parking, lovely grounds, nice eclectic design and the oyster stout was divine. Breakfast was great but the vegetarian choice was limited to a bland veggie burger, plenty for the meat eater though.
Lovely comfortable place. Service is excellent. Would recommend staying here
We had a really good time at the hotel, quite peaceful. The staff were very helpful, they couldn't do enough.
Three of us were in the room which l found to be a bit cramped. For more than 2 guests I would
suggest booking the cottage which l was told has 2 rooms
Very quiet location. Cottage was well equipped and comfortable, staff were friendly and professional.
