We visited the Harvester on our way to the Lake District and came across a fantastic server in Stuart. He was an absolute pleasure to meet and speak with. He was able to give us information about the local area and about our holiday. We really enjoyed our food, but Stuart was the highlight of our visit. Thank you

**Updated EOTHO edition** I have only been in a few times but every time I've visited the staff have been absolutely lovely. I love that the Harvesters still offer the free salad with paid meals, and the meals themselves are nice enough, and the menus have a lovely variety of dishes. I also like the free refill Pepsi fountain as it has a cherry option, and other flavours too. Yum. Definitely one of the better Harvesters I have been in. August 2020 - as part of the government discount scheme, just been back for a spontaneous lunch date, and the manager kindly squeezed us in. Very well organised, pleasant, friendly, great food, busy but didn't have to wait all that long, a lovely experience all round. And 3 courses later and drinks for 2, and it only cost me under £12, amazing. Thanks Buckshaw team, very happy customers!!
