Last week was our first time we visited this good restaurant. But It is no doubt not the last. We enjoyed the evening very much with the generous service, with the magnificent cooking and fine drinks and with the friendly payment. We will absolutely come back again.
Popped in for a bite to eat with my girlfriend We both ordered a mixed grill and a cold cola. The place was clean, social distancing measures in place and we got a lovely surprise when the food arrived. So this mix grill comprised of a thick really tasty burger, a large succulent tender large piece of chicken (larger than normal due them running out of sausages after a really busy day) a small. piece of tasty Lamb , delicious bacon, a large piece of gammon, two fried egg, onion rings, English tomato, chunky chips and forgive me if I've forgotten anything. All the food was hot, and apart from perhaps the fact I don't like gammon anyway I'd of struggled to eat it, its a great meal. I washed it down with a creamy latte.. One of the best parts of our visit, when I got to the till I was expecting to pay about £55 hadn't realised it was 50% off but then on top of that we got two for one I paid just shy of £14! Including drinks! But by far the best thing was the Attentive staff. Although they all looked dead on their feet after what had been a busy day, they were brilliant. Nothing was too much bother, very friendly and well presented. They are a credit to Fieldfare. Thank you so much we will be back.
Service prompt and pleasant. Soup could have been warmer. Main meals good -chips hot and tasty. Dessert yummy. All in all a good lunch.
We really enjoyed our meal here.
The staff were very friendly and attentive
Covid measures were in place and being observed by everyone. Tables were spaces out and it wasn't too busy, unlike some of the other local pubs/restaurants.
Most importantly, the food was delicious.
Great covid friendly pub, pleasant staff. 2 4 1 meal deals and a good specials menu. Definitely recommend.
