Came here for lunch,was greeted by a lovely gentleman who seated us and took our drinks order. We ordered the steak ciabatta with fries also ordered the pakoras. The food was absolutely amazing along with the welcoming atmosphere. The staff and food was great. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE CROSS GAITS. great food and great staff who were very accommodating. We will be returning. Best local pub

Every thing was great we arrived to a very warm and friendly staff. My party of six all ordered the Sunday lunch it looked really good well presented with plenty of fresh veg the only downfall was the food was cold, we sent ours back as did another customer it was returned but was only warm not hot. It was a real shame as we would have certainly returned I know it was very busy but no excuse for cold food.

Amazing 5 star food! They have really stepped their game up here. Good quality pub with a great atmosphere and location.

We arrived after booking a table the day before to be told by a young man that our table was outside,It was pouring down,We told him we did not book a table outside.He went away again then once again came back totally not bothered and said no your table is outside and we are fully booked inside.He then got who I assume was a manager who appologised for their mistake,We explained our family had o.e over to visit us and the two young children were very hungry. He came across as totally not prepared to help fix this problem for us. He did offer to ring another pub near by to see if they could fit us in,lucky for us they did. With this being their mistake I would have expected them to go all our to try and accommodate us but no they were not bothered.With this in mind I will never return or recommend them.Totally disgusted with them.
