The minute you walk in the joint you can smell urine from the dirty to toilet, I was meeting my friends who live in Colne and it was their first and last time it was very clicky and they seemed like regulars we had one drink and it was enough, Warm and flat and the bloke at the bar was so uninterested when I asked what beers he recommended he was too busy chatting to a couple at the bar. Took the drinks with my friend sat down and then heard him laughing and using foul language about a customer who had been in the previous evening. We drank up and won't be going again but shame really because in different hands I'm sure it would be a winner.
CAMRA survey visit. Busy with happy customers. Beer selection interesting and well worth a visit. Also, as a bonus, a very lovely golden retriever is resident to also make you welcome
