We arrived just as they were about to stop serving. Not only did we still get a meal the food was excellent. Well organised and a friendly pub.

The food sadly wasn't as I expected, the meals were quite bland and very dry, it felt cold and not cosy as you would expect from a country Inn. The menu is very limited and service wasn't particularly great. Shame when there is so much potential for a lovely country Inn.

Have eaten here 4 times now and will always visit when I'm up in this part of the world. Really cannot fault this place. Good beer, excellent food, beautiful setting. Great staff too and plenty of them too which makes a nice change from many other restaurant pubs. Highly recommended.

Covid19 safe. Staff very efficient and friendly .Food very well presented and tasty. Will return soon We were booked in for 16.30pm on a Tuesday. Thanks to all who made our meal a great and tasty experience
