Nothing not to like
Went to celebrate husband's 60th birthday. 2 of the meals were cold and sent back. Within 15minutes freshly cooked steaks.chips and the trimmings were delivered to the table. Excellent food and service. All family enjoyed it.
Had a great meal here with my young daughter last night. The childrens menu is good and the prices are reasonable. The pint of Estrella was the icing on the cake.
The Black Bull have made a real effort to be COVID safe and it's great to see the pub still open in the current circumstances.

All government guidelines followed staff friendly and helpful. 4 different meals all excellent standard. Thank you.
My partner and I went here for dinner as a stop during our road trip up North. The staff here were super lovely and helpful, and the food was everything we hoped from a pub feed. It's a charmingly down-to-earth pub I would definitely go back to.
