As always very impressed with our visit. We were seated as soon as we walked through the door, the wait at the bar was non-existent and the roast dinners were amazing. Fantastic service, fantastic food, 100% Covid safe and child friendly. Can't wait for our next visit!
Yes, it's an Ember Inn, but it's really well run. Great beer and food, very friendly staff. Was only a stop off for us on our way up the M6, but will definitely be stopping there again next time.

Service from front of house excellent
Start great. Then it went downhill
45 minutes later no main
Asked two members off staff
10/15 minutes later after being told it was being plated.
Mains arrived mix grill
Sausage burnt , chicken on one dry
But the steak was awful medium was full off blood
Sent the meat back
Sausage good steak tasted burnt enough blood was still coming out
Better to have served no food and admitted it
Then the mess that arrived
Really good clean friendly helpful staff great food good price! Just wondering if staff should wear a mask or face visor??? But did feel safe as a customer!
The food was lovely without one single complaint, not bad for 11 people I think. I found it to be good value for money and the service was quick and the staff were pleasant.
