Out for a walk around Cottam on a Tuesday in August but started raining. Decided to go for a couple of drinks at just after 5pm. Met at the door by a unwelcoming member of staff who asked if we had booked to which I replied we hadn't. Was told that we could sit outside which was not ideal as it was raining. I asked why we could not sit inside as there were approx. 6 people in the whole premises but was met with the robotic response that they were fully booked and could not come in (which prompted some hilarity with one of the people seated near the door). I find it hard to believe that we could not have been accommodated for the 1 hour or so we would have been in. Disappointing as we live local and have patronised the premises previously. Would have thought they would have welcomed the trade but will spend my money elsewhere.
Glad it was half price.. polite staff but food was awful.. had to send lasagne back as it was rock hard..
Good service a nice place, but the steak I got well I've just figured chewing it from 3 weeks ago.
Havnt been here for years, I was happily surprised how nice it was inside
Lovely and clean felt quite safe dining enjoyed visit.
