Lovely countryside setting. Good real ale. Popular with diners. Now open Monday evenings. Car parking available. Polite, efficient staff. Dog friendly if that's your thing. Well worth the visit. Coastal coaches run the public bus service which passes the pub teatime (77 & 77A). Building looks well maintained both inside and out.
Lovely staff and food. I had the scallops to start, duck for main and bread pudding. All were fantastic.
Good service although one of the starters arrived ten minutes after the others. Very good beer and tasty food. The chowder was lovely.
First visit here and definitely not the last. Lovely little quirky pub and Staff were very welcoming . Food was delicious and well portioned and presented
