It's a good place. The menu is extensive and well priced. The place is clean, comfortable and warm. The service is good, the food is good and there is a good choice of beers.
Food was a bit disapointing - roast beef lunch. Warmed up from frozen spuds, raw green beans. Great mash and beef was nice, but too many things wrong on the dish. Horseradish cream without any horseradish. Good service. A little mixed.
a nice lunch with a pleasant atmosphere. Food good, staff pleasant and helpful. Despite there only being one server (the other off sick) we only waited a little while longer than you'd expect.
Lovely pub with a good selection of beer. Friendly staff and a wonderful location. Didn't have time to try the food unfortunately but will be going back soon.
