Fantastic meal. Lovely seafood platter. Made my young son a gluten free meal in a separate fryer. He was very impressed and said it was really tasty. Service was brilliant. Lovely atmosphere
Enjoyed a lovely family gathering this afternoon at the Calves Head. Really good, friendly service. The food was fabulous, no complaints at all. Everyone enjoyed their meal. The Worston Whale was as epic as ever!!!! They also have a good Vegan menu. Went out into the garden afterwards, I would definitely recommend this pub for wonderful meals at great prices.

Well, with this social distancing you have no need to fear. The Calf's head make you feel safe and yet still are able to make you feel welcome and human. Great friendly staff the food I can highly recommend the cheese and onion pie, mmmm. The chips I had to stop my husband pinching them as he had the mashed potato which was creamy and really tasty. My husband had the plate minced pie he said was very good, he wouldn't share it with me. We both had starters, delicious. The surroundings the dining room make this one of my favourite places to eat.
Only ever been here for meals, but the service is fast and friendly. Parking is great. The view is lovely. And the food has always been delicious! Reasonably priced for the portion sizes.
Also the covid precautions seem to be in place where other restaurants are sometimes lacking
