Stayed here overnight as a treat! rooms are very basic and in need of some TLC quite disappointing. Food however was lovely. Good quality food and good potion sizes.
Having a wonderful stay at the Spread Eagle. Nat and the team couldn't do the enough for us (they even sorted a taxi for me, my partner and our dog to get to and from Clitheroe which every dog owner knows - getting dog friendly taxis is a nightmare). Great beer, great food and amazing views to wake up to. A lovely home away from home.
Absolutely awesome place to stay. Great walks nearby, great food, drinks, staff all lovely, and the rooms were quirky but immaculate. Thankyou for a great night away! We will be back!
Greeted by a young woman who did her best not to smile, asked for drinks and cake, was told there wasn't any cakes but we could have crisps! My Earl Grey came but the empty cup was dirty so i asked for it to be replaced, also had to ask for milk.
We will not be returning customers!
What a beautiful spot. A cold drink on a hot day sat on the riverbank watching the ducks and occasional kingfisher followef by excellent food....what could be better
