Staying at the Craven Heffer for the second time. Absolutely wonderful experience. The rooms are of a very high quality and a generous size. The rooms are well equipped with everything you need from hair dryer, iron and board to a lovely soft bath robe. Down in the bar the staff are very friendly and helpful. I must recommend you eat in the restaurant as the food is amazing. There is a good selection on the menu of home cooked food. We will definitely be returning here in the future.

I've been to The Craven Heifer for meals lots of time and the food and service are always excellent. It's really sad that current COVID rules mean they can't open, but I wanted to give their takeaway a special mention. Exactly the same quality, presentation and generous portions you'd get in the restaurant - really excellent food.

What a belting find this place was, stunning area, lovely hotel and food to die for. Room was spacious with a lovely view, great big bed and superb bathroom. Staff were also superb, hotel lovely and clean but the food stood out for me, l love my steak and ale pie and this was probably the best I've ever had, a proper, individual, pie the steak was so tender with lovely shortcrust pastry, yum yum, my wife had a lamb Sunday roast which again was so tender you only had to show the knife for it to fall apart. Absolutely nothing bad to say about this place I'd give it ten stars if I could.
