Nice friendly neighbourhood pub. I had a little time to kill and called in for a half of beer. They had a very pleasant bitter that was to my taste. Pleasant staff took my phone number for tracing etc. (a nécessité these days) Warm, comfortable and pretty traditional. I didn't try their food. It was too late, after 9:30, I noticed they have a B&B attached which might be worth exploring. I would certainly call again to discover more if I was in the area.

Really nice, cosy pub/bnb. Excellent food and the landlord and landlady are very good hosts. Felt very welcome by the locals and the safety is in place without feeling too over the top. Will be back.

Really nice and very spacious beer garden. All very clean and good measures in place for social distancing. A really pleasant afternoon.
