Taking covid precautions very seriously, which is good. Hand sanitiser was provided as well as spray and wipes so you can clean after you every time you use the facilities. Can drive your car onto your tent pitch. Individual toilet/shower cubicles rather than a communal block.

Lovely campsite, and host. Well kept facilities, plenty of space between pitches and dog friendly. We will be back again soon. Even with all the covid issues everything has been put in place to help you relax and enjoy this beautiful part of the country 😊

We stayed at this campsite for 10 days in July. It is very well organised and the campsite owner Vicki, is a lovely lady who will do whatever she can to help. Nothing is too much trouble. The covid regulations are all in force....again it is well managed. The site itself consists of a field with everybody designated a pitch. The site is very peaceful....even with children and dogs! The village, which is a mile away, was very friendly and welcoming. The village shop sold the most delicious home made cakes which were made by a village resident called Val Snape. Her ginger cake is the best I have ever tasted. There is also a very good fish and chip shop and pub. Definitely going back!!

My friend and I stayed at Ashcroft Campsite for four nights in July (2020) and we really enjoyed our time there. The campsite is quiet and cosy. The facilities are clean and they have a utility room where you can wash up your crockery – this is covered which we thought it was good and very warm too! Vicky, the owner of the campsite, did all she could to make our stay memorable and comfortable. For example, when we asked her to refreeze our ice packs she was very helpful and kindly prepared a frozen bottle for us to change every day. Vicky is very welcoming and super friendly and we really appreciate how helpful she has been while we stayed at her campsite. The campsite itself has a great location. We liked the fact that isn’t far from busy Saunton Sands, Croyde and Woolacombe but also very near to other quieter beaches such as Mouthmill Beach, Shipload and Barley Bay. On a wet day we visit the Hartland Devon Heritage Coast and the views were stunning. We didn’t bother with Clovelly as we didn’t really want to pay to get in. We definitely recommend visiting Ashcroft Farm and staying at Vicky’s lovely campsite!
