Thank you for a lovely stay at Ty Coch. So close to Cardiff and yet in the middle of the countryside. Nigel and Maria have created a lovely spot. Everything you need with no fuss. The welcome is warm and genuine; and the atmosphere is calm, quiet and relaxed. Nigel does alot of the building, upcycling so many objects that create a space that is quirky and easy on the eye. Although immaculately kept and very clean, there is so much character. It's a lovely place to stay. I highly recommend it.

A gem of a site, booked for three nights but stayed a fourth due to flat battery. Met Maria and Nigel on arrival and then was very well looked after by Wendy and Dave very able stand in wardens. Very helpful during our stay and particularly when we had flat battery. Will definitely be back.

Great peaceful site. Good clean facilities. Very helpful to slot me in even though I was a late smelly arrival by bike! Would recommend without hesitation.

Wonderful hosts. Our shepherds hut was full of small gestures, that made it even more special. The accomodation had everything we needed, and the onsite facilities were clean and modern. Perfect location to get away from the city. Close to pubs, attractions and walks. Look forward to visiting again in the near future. Thank you.

Because of the Covid-19 situation, we nervously booked into Ty Coch Farm Campsite. On the phone, Maria was friendly and welcoming, and booked us in. When we arrived, we were greeted by Maria who was lovely and reassured us about the measures they had taken to ensure the safety of campers. She told us where we could camp and let us choose a pitch. She went through the facilities- toilets, showers and wash-up area. The main showers were in a purpose built wooden building, and spotlessly clean, the toilets and well equipped basic kitchen were in old farm buildings and again spotless. There was 2 more showers and a toilet by the farmhouse, again spotless. The site was well laid out with plenty of space between pitches, which were level and with a choice of gravel or grass and many with electric hookup. Grass was mown and well looked after. Plenty of bins and recycling and water points for drinking and tank waste. The site was secured with gates with an access code. We really enjoyed our stay, the only thing that would have improved our visit would be to be able to access the coast path directly instead of having to walk along the road - vehicles go quite fast so we had to keep our wits about us. We will return!
