Went there today, Saturday 22th September , for a pint with my brother. What a lovely old pub, nice pleasant atmosphere and lovely bar staff.

This pub is average for the chain of steaming Billy's. Its kind of what you expect, up market wetherspoons type place. Nothing especially noteworthy in terms of service or selection of beers. I went in the day where I found it to be a good place to deal with a few work emails - quiet and relaxing with a few neat little nooks to sit in if you want to be out of the way. Would be interested to see how it fairs at night. Very clean with friendly staff
