Lovely steak and great variety of them at that. They live up to the name steak house. The staff are friendly and attentive. The cocktails are delicious and you could happily spend your weekly earnings on them. Not sure about the lettuce wedge though, seems lazy and lacks creativity.

We live in the village and this was our first time visit, since it changed to Miller & Carter, which was a delayed birthday meal from late March. We had booked a table for 3 and where shown straight to it, there was lots of space between tables, so no need for any dividers which made it feel so much better, very welcoming, relaxed and reassuring. We were looked after really well, some initial drinks and a chance to look at the menu, then food came in a very reasonable time. We had sirloin steak, upgraded to the chunky chips and two of us had an extra side of mushrooms. The food was perfectly cooked, the chips were awesome and the sauces were great, but it would have been good to have more than a quarter of a beef tomato. The side of mushrooms were really nice, button mushrooms and plenty of them. We finished with a final drink, with two of us ordering coffees, which were not on the menus. We asked for a weak Latte and that is exactly what we got, we have asked many places for this and most can not get it right, so bonus points. We were expecting it to be a but more expensive, compared to many places, which it was, but the quality of the food, the great service and surroundings, meant it was good value for a special meal.

Absoulty lovely evening at the Miller and Carter. The food perfect, my friend had a rump steak and I had the dirty burger, I have never put such nice tasting me in my mouth before. Our waiter Jonah was brilliant. Made us feel really comfortable and was able to laugh with us, very professional for a young person. We shall be back soon 😊

Regularly eat here when given the opportunity as never really had a bad meal, tonight however the service was exceptional. Given the current circumstances Jonah made us feel at ease, was very attentive, and engaged with us throughout the meal. An absolute credit to the team. The chateauxbriand was AMAZING. Well worth sharing
