Not much of a menu but food was alright
Lovely staff. Food was really disappointing though. I took my parents for lunch (which is something we very rarely get to do as we're carers and all work)
There was 2 other tables and it was extremely quiet and laid back. Coffee was beautiful but steak sandwiches were full of gristle and chips undercooked and laidened with oil. Service was very slow considering it was so quiet also but lovely waiting staff and pleasant welcome upon arrival.
Really used to enjoy eating out here, such a shame to see how poor the service has become.
From the start the staff were rude when asking a group of our party for id to drink and then at the table told them 'they better not be drinking wine or they'll have to take it off them' making them feel very embarrassed. We were never asked once if we enjoyed our food, not once, which was clearly obvious to see we didn't as it was still left on the plate. The steaks were mixed up accidentally. The one saving grace was the mushroom starter and the wine. I know we are living in an epidemic but this place truly has gone down hill and needs a kick up the backside to get it back to where it belongs.
Great place, a touch of class, even original veggie food.
Very fancy and good quality food and drinks. Bit pricey though.
