Great meal with a great selection on the menu. Never thought of coming here before as I always saw it as more of a hotel and wedding venue, but most other places were booked up so visited. Glad we did, all three courses were superb and will be back again.
Service good, friendly and attentive, food average, requested 1 steak, rare, 1 mdm rare, both small thin steaks arrived barely pink, (medium) chips in baskets looked nice but only warm and limp and would have benifited from being dropped into hot fryer to crisp and heat, large salad garnish, small chopped and as I don't eat onion, or cucumber, was wasted, only other accompiant was half a grilled tomato, disappointing meal as had looked forward to getting out and having a nice meal, if we had been on our own we would have addressed these issues but we were with 3 friends, and didn't want to spoil the evening, we did point out to the waiter that my Husband's steak was a long way off rare, He did offer to replace, but felt there were too many issues, so summing up, nice place and staff, our food, mine, and Husband's very disappointing.
Visited for a wedding, despite all the current limitations on things, was a great day and the staff looked after everything
Nice restaurant, good quality food, large portions. Staff very friendly and good prices.
Sunday lunch was excellent. Family were hotel guests. We'll run & friendly.
